NORMEIX ("we," "us," or "our") operates the NORMEIX web application at normeix.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account data: email, password (stored securely by our auth provider), username, display name, gender preference for quote personalization, and profile timestamps.
- App data: study sessions, timer settings, stats, checklist tasks, friends list, friend requests, study room participation, and preferences you save to the cloud.
- Payment data: billing is processed by Stripe. We store subscription status, plan tier, and Stripe customer/subscription identifiers — not full card numbers.
- Support data: messages you send through Help & support tickets, including email and category.
- Technical data: basic logs from our hosting and database providers (e.g., IP address, browser type, error logs) for security and reliability.
How we use information
- Provide and sync the focus timer, Pomodoro tools, friends, and study rooms.
- Manage your trial, membership, and billing.
- Respond to support tickets and improve the product.
- Protect against abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Service providers
We use trusted third parties to run NORMEIX, including Supabase (authentication, database, and cloud functions) and Stripe (payments). These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Data retention
We keep your account and app data while your account is active. If you delete your account from the app, we permanently delete associated cloud data as described in the account deletion flow. Support tickets may be retained for a reasonable period for customer service and legal compliance.
Your choices
- Update profile information in Account.
- Delete your account permanently from Account → Delete account.
- Contact us via Help & support for privacy questions.
Children
NORMEIX is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
